The 8BrightEyes team take a trip to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast in Australia. Here’s a short video of what to expect and what our highlights were.
Dreamworld is the original Gold Coast theme park with over 40 rides and attractions. It has thrill rides such as the Steel Taipan, The Claw, Motocoaster, The Gold Coaster and Serpent Slayer, as well as family rides, a 4D experience – The Sky Voyager – and a native wildlife area with koalas, crocodiles, Tasmanian Devils and the like.
Whitewater World is next door but as we were visiting in winter, it was closed.
Tickets when we visited were $99AUD, which was well worth the money for the full day out, as we were there from open until close. In our opinion, we thought Warner Bros. Movie World was probably better for families with older kids or teenagers and Dreamworld might have a bit more on offer for younger kids. The food options at Dreamworld also weren’t really up to standard but okay if you like corn dogs and fries. Still we had an awesome fun family day out at Dreamworld, Gold Coast, Australia and it’s better than what’s on offer in our home country of New Zealand.
